    [Bug] Microsoft Flight Simulator: Standard Edition Installation Infinite Loading Screen


    Purchased the Xbox GamePass last night and tried to install MS Flight Sim. I launched the game from the windows Xbox app and encountered an issue. The first issue was that MS flight simulator couldn't check for updates because I didn't have a working internet connection. I knew that error message was incorrect, and I ignored it. I then tried to proceed with the actual 125GB installation of the game, but this is where I was met with the infinite loading screen. I kicked off the installation, but it appears it never actually tried to download or install the game. There is a small blue progress bar at the bottom of the application that slowly moves, but gets stuck at 100% and never finishes.

    Things I've verified:

    Working internet connection
    Enough free HDD space

    Latest/up to date Windows 10 installation
    GamePass subscription

    Even just simply trying to purchase this game last night was a hassle. So many bugs on the MS store.

    Idk. I don't expect this issue to be solved. I'm just pissed that it takes this much effort to play one game. Still any suggestions on how to solve this issue are appreciated.

    Yes. I've "uninstalled" the game a few times via the Windows 10 Xbox app.
