Bug/glitch in Microsoft Edge. Maybe a security issue?

About two months ago, I accessed a adult site in my xbox one using Microsoft Edge inPrivate mode. I was apprehensive, but have read in many topics that a Xbox One can not be infected by virus because some reasons, so I moved on. This was the first and unique
time that I did this in my console. During my access, the cursor of Microsoft Edge was clicking without my commands, it was like the page was sending a command to cursor to click from time to time. After watched, I went to play.

Some days later, when I went to watch videos on Youtube (I access Youtube from Microsoft Edge), the page executed some clicks that I didn't. Then I tested if this bug was only in Youtube and how it works. So, the problem is:

- When I move the right analogic (camera) in some pattern and in certain velocity, Microsoft Edge interprets this move as a click.

- This occurs in all pages on Microsoft Edge, not only in Youtube.

- This not occurs outside Microsoft Edge.

- This is not what happened in the adult site. In that site, the click occurred when I moved left analogic (cursor's analogic), but now the click occurs when I move camera's analogic.

I thought this can be a problem in my controller, so I borrowed another controller from a friend the problem persists. So, when I asked to this friend to try in his Xbox, he said that this problem not happened. I even tested another profile in my console,
and nothing changed. After tried all this, I did two factory resets (one keeping my games and another deleting all content), and the problem remains.

I know this is a little problem, but is very annoying when I quickly move right analogic to go down pages in Edge and a ghost click happen. Besides that, since this situation started after I accessed a adult site, it's easy for me to think that something
malicious occurred.

Any ideas about what this can be and what I can do?

Obs: I delayed two months to create this topic because after some days I have to stop playing because some personal obligations, and now I would like to solve this before go back to play.

Hi Mugboy,

Thanks for keeping us up to date on the issue. Lets try something with the controller itself.

Go to settings> kinect and devices>devices and accessories>then select the beaker>test out the buttons and analog sticks.
Go to settings>ease of access>controller>button mapping>restore to default.
Update your controller.

Try these and let us know.

Hi Mugboy,

I'm sorry to hear that a factory reset did not solve the issue. I noticed you haven't said that you did a hard powercyle and resetting the power supply could be very beneficial here. Go ahead and do a

hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox.

Let us know if resetting the power supply helps.
