[BUG] 5.1 Issue on games Xbox One)

Hi

I've got a big issue with my Xbox One. I just bought a home cinema 5.1 with an amplificator Onkyo. When i'm playing Bioshock infinite for example, i've got the sound like a 5.1, Great !

But, when i'm playing Minecraft or Overwatch, i have not sound comming from behind.

I tried "Bitstream out" and "5.1 not compressed", it's the same...

Could you help me please?

I tried to uninstall games, reset my xbox, etc...

TV Tuner Stereo output only?

I just purchased the USB tuner and am having the same issue. No surround sound (5.1) with OTA live TV but games and movies work fine. Anybody have a fix or is this a known bug in the latest firmware for xbox one?

Xbox One OTA USB TV Tuner does not passthrough 5.1 Audio from TV stations w/ verified 5.1 Audio

The Xbox One USB TV Tuner doesn't seem to be able to passthrough 5.1 audio from tuned in channels. It only outputs Stereo from all TV channels (this outputted as 5.1 w/ only the front left and right speakers having sound; another issue related to system
audio handling). I verified this by Tuning the same channel on my TV which is connected to my receiver via optical. The show was broadcast in Dolby Digital 5.1 and the center channel had distinct voices. Watching this same channel on the XBox One USB TV Tuner
outputted the sound only via the left and right channels(despite the XBox being set to output Dolby Digital 5.1; which it does for games).

Not sure if this is really a support issue as much as a bug/issue that needs to be filed. Anyone have any idea how I could file a ticket to track this?

Same here, very often I find my AVR in 7.1 Mode. But I have a nativ 5.1 configured.

Always have to change back Audio in Xbox One Settings. Doesn't matter if I use 5.1 uncompressed or 5.1 DTS, after a view hours, it is reset to 7.1.

Please fix this Auto-Reset-Audio Bug.

I've been playing a LOT of DR3 and haven't had that particular issue in my 5.1 setup. However, I agree there are still a lot of little bugs/issues that need to be worked out with the Xbox One, and I'm sure they will be in time. Does seem they rushed the
software, though the hardware seems fine provided folks don't get a dud...

I have the exact same issue. Virgin TiVo going into Xbox one via HDMI, then HDMI to 5.1 receiver, then HDMI to TV. No 5.1 from the Virgin TiVo movie channels, but everything else is fine.
