    Buffering streaming services


    I just moved into a new house and connected my Xbox 360. Since moving, I am unable to watch any streaming service (Netflix, Amazon, etc.) for more than a few minutes without buffering and then being logged out of Xbox live. The internet at my last home
    ran at a slow 4Mbps without any streaming issues on my Xbox. I upgraded my internet at my new house; my 2.4Ghz network at my new house is getting at least 20Mbps, yet my streams keep buffering. I do not have a 5Ghz adapter on the Xbox and understand that Xbox
    does not recognize 5Ghz networks. I've turned the Xbox, router, and modem off multiple times and still have the buffering issue. I've connected other devices to the 2.4Ghz network and experienced no connectivity issues. It appears to be an issue with the Xbox
    staying connected to the network. I'd appreciate any suggestions to help resolve our issues since we do not have cable TV and rely on our streaming service.

    Netflix raises DVD & streaming plan price by 60%

    well, i'm stuck with the dvd only option since i have dsl my bandwith isn't worth streaming anything because of the constant buffering. in which case i'll be getting a slight discount now...for those complaining, know that there are other online services
    that offer dvd, streaming, and even games for reasonable (now low) prices compared to netflix...just Bing it.

    Buffering

    Hi, how was this resolved, my X1 is buffering, and it's getting worse. It's just watching tv, not even streaming.

    it's basically the same as streaming a movie, you just can't "buffer" if you can start netflix let it load then play without "buffering" at 720p, then you would be able to stream with gaikai.

    Howdy!

    Did you actually download the song, or was it trying to stream over your data connection?

    If it wasn't downloaded, it will look like its trying to play, when it is actually buffering to stream. So I would recommend downloading your music, then you can instantly play it, even without service!
