Kind of hard to explain and i guess very few have the same experience, but I give it a shot like this is likely something to do with how the xbox is handling the signal from HDMI IN.

I use a nexbox android box, but instead it is installed libreelec. Sound is working great on everything except when playing music from youtube, the sound gets bubbply, like the xbox has problems with placing sound to the right channels?

I can fix the problem by setting a specific bitrate "48 Khz" in Libreelec but that destroys my sound "dolby digital" on my sat quality iptv provider.

If I connect my nexbox directly to tv or avr there is no problem, so must be how the xbox is handling the signal.

Any clues?

Never have it go through the TV I had sound problems for months took a lot of playing around with cables settings youtube videos/forums to learn about sound

Your best turning HDMI audio off then using dolby digital not DTS into your amp to make sure there is no sound coming from HDMI and remember most youtube videos will not be 5.1

X-360 apps

I use my Xbox 360 mainly for apps such as Youtube.

But for over a week now the Youtube app is the ONLY app not loading videos.

TWC 15 mg up and running fine. So I called XBCS. Twice.. Both times we trouble shot the problem to no avail.

Is anyone else having problems loading videos via the xbox 360 using the Youtube app?

I just saw the video from Youtube... What the heck? I used CoD elite's video render service to put it on Youtube. Why is there so much Sound lag? =S

I suggest you to delete the you tube app, clear the console cache and download the you tube app again:

Here’s how:

From the Xbox Dashboard, go to Settings, and then select System.

Select Storage.

Select your primary storage device.

Select Games and Apps.

Find and select any items that refer to the app.

Select Delete.

To clear the system cache. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared
for all storage devices.)

Return to the Xbox Dashboard.

Go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.

Browse or search for the app.

Select the app to redownload it.

Are you part of the Xbox Insider Preview program? There are known issues watching YouTube videos on Edge via console.

The workaround as already suggested, is to use the YouTube app.
