BT wifi with FON connection problem

Hi I'm having problems with accessing the internet on my xbox 360 I'm on BT wifi with FON and in order to access the internet I need to log in to BT but I don't know how to log in if I'm not connected to the internet pls help me

yes i do and when u say other network does that include bt fon or bt wifi

connect my xbox to another wifi network

My broadband is down ( BT Infinity ) and i can't access my games offline because i never set them up for offline playing, i am trying to connect my xbox1 to another wifi network ( BT Fon) my mac is connected to BT Fon but my xbox won't, would appreciate
any help.

Have you tried using the internet explorer app? If you connect to the WiFi and then try to access a webpage through that app, it should hopefully redirect you to the log in page.

If BT's FON service are using 802.1x, or RADIUS for the authentication method, then you will not be able to connect your console through this procedure, as you would do using your computer. The Xbox 360 do not support such authentication protocols.

There is a workaround for this, where you can choose to use your computer and share its Internet Connection with your console, or to use the physical address/MAC address of the already authenticated computer, and use this address as your consoles alternative
MAC address.

Hey Ricracrok

Because of the way Open Networks work like BT FON its basicly a public network that needs a log in and the xbox cant handle that.

What you need to do is connect your xbox to a PC or Laptop with a enthernet cable. Set the Network up on the PC and share the network with your console in Network Setting. This guide will talk you though those steps
