Not me,BT sport is dire imo.

Anyway,whether or not an app would be made available would be down to BT to make it available to Microsoft.

How do you remove the account from the Xbox?, is it obvious where you do that?

Open the guide go to settings>account>remove accounts

I hope it gets resolved either way and you don't have to go through the hassle of doing a reset and restore.

there are 2 versions of the factory reset;

• Reset and remove everything. This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps will be deleted. You should use this option when selling
  or gifting the console to someone else. You should only use this option as a last resort in some troubleshooting cases.
• Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. This will save you from downloading
  or reinstalling the large game files. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose
  Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with
  Reset and keep my games & apps and save Reset and remove everything as a last resort.
  

As it says, i'd only use the remove everything as a last resort.

Let me know if you do try either option and how you get on and also how you get on with your shiny new console too.

Given that your account is working on everything else, I think its likely a bug in the console, but this is me merely speculating and i'm just a volunteer on these forums.
