    BT Sport app on Xbox One.... ever going to happen?


    Hi all

    I have a household that would like to get BT Sport, but I have no intention of buying a set-top box or subscribing to any Sky or Virgin service. I would pay a monthly fee to BT for their sport, but that is it. I naturally assumed that there would be an app
    for the Xbox One. Has anyone heard anything in that regard?

    I am amazed there isn't as they could likely mop up quite a few subscribers.

    Can I watch BT sport on my Xbox 360?

    The xbox one does use silver light, but you cannot download it an install it via Internet explorer. Posting on the BT forums letting BT know that users would like a xbox one app is the way forward. If enough users let BT know that users want an app they
    might make one.

    Personally I have BT sport on my sky+HD box on channels 413/414 for HD. It's free if you have bt Internet.

    The xbox wont install silverlight so i dont think BT sport will work without an app

    Anyway,whether or not an app would be made available would be down to BT to make it available to Microsoft.

    Thank god I have internet again so I can watch Xbox Next-Gen tomorrow!

    If you're a football fan it might be also worth your while considering BT being as BT Sports will soon be totally FREE to their customers meaning premiership games / ESPN at no extra charge. I'm normally the first to moan about the constant stream of useless
    apps MS keep throwing on the 360 but I'm hoping they might make one for BT sports
