BT Homehub 4 Open NAT Solution!

Hey ive set up a profile to apply to my console and i kept getting a conflict error, i worked it down to port UDP 3074 which is flagging as conflicting. Am i right in thinking this is critical to activision games and what is it conflicting with? thanks

Port 3074 is quite a popular port in gaming.

It's needed by all games on the xbox 360

It's needed by call of duty and probably all activision games on the playstation consoles.

It's needed by the xbox one system for most non-activision games as well as party chat.

For activision games it is not critical. For them you need port 3075, 3076, 1200 and 1001 depending on the game. Just forward the four of them.

 

After finding this thread I was happy, but I did everything and it's gone from moderate to Strict NAT, any ideas?

 

Oh weird I just cleared the Alternative MAC address again and it's worked apparently.

Hi I am struggling with NAT restriction as well, just up graded the other day from a 360.

I think I need to re-set the router to factory default to clear the 360 as it's also set to static, so I am getting a device confliction issue when I try and port forward the XB1.

My other question is, do I set the XB1 to static? will this help with NAT issue? as well as the port forwarding?

I am really struggling any advise would be great.

I can't get port forwarding to work I have reset the hub to factory several times.

All I get when I try and apply the port forwarding is I have a conflict with another application or device.

I added the xbone to the DMZ and I have open NATS now.

Also made it static using the same IP

 

I got the ports open late last night, I removed the Xbox one from the DMZ and I still have an open NAT.

I am assuming as I reset the router to factory default it does the whole thing where the lines unstable for a few days? as my ping and download speed is all over the place now

 

I have a BT HomeHub4 and cannot get this working no matter how many times I try. Each time I try the multiplayer check I receive - Cannot get a Teredo IP address, holding the toggle bars for further network checks comes back with - no network of firewall
enabled.

Any help would be great as this is driving me nuts!!!
