BSOD due to EAC and other Programs

    Hey guys,

    my Problem is the following:

my system starts crashing after 10 to 30 minutes ingame in different games since one week.

i downloaded "whocrashed" and it tells me several windows and anti cheat programms are crashing. (no, i never used any cheat software) it happend in several games such as with EAC, Star citizen, Scum, or with battle eye like Escape from tarkov or PUBG

this seems to be an old problem cause i found many old threads from back to 2018 with same or mostly the same issue. i done all steps wich are oputlined on several forums and on easy anti cheat itself. i reset up windows from scratch, just downmloaded intel nvidia and win driver, downloaded a game and it crashed again.

    (older posting: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-antisys/ba122ad5-e8bd-448f-91c5-12dd8097c4b5 or https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/bedaisy-sys-bsod-windows-10-pubg-fortnite-and-more.3320247/ )

i changed my ram and also run memtest86+, done chkdsk /f /r , sfc /scannow in the cmd center but it all always state my HW is not faulty. in some crash repüorts it state it can be a ram issue but more likely driver issues.

i really tried to do all steps wich would be "the normal first" ones but even after memtest said HW is fine and all other things seems to be totaly fine idk how i can get help with this issue. most older threads not really camne to an end so i try to get things, wich costed time there to be applicated here.

    my HW is

    i7 77k, 2080, 32GB 3000 aegis, maximus ix formula, h100x

my system ran for 2 years now always fine with no issues. normally itrs overclocked but atm not due to find the issue.

also i used several things plugged in my pc like x56 HOTAS or thrustmaster MFD but all always updated.

would be very happy if anyone knows how to handle this one..

    thanks so far

BSOD due to EAC and other Programs

As it seems i found the root cause and its stupid :D

My logitech x56 Hotas system as well as thrustmaster MFD was linked into an USB HUB...

since i put them direct into usb 3.0 there are no crashed anymore at all. The thing is, i used it in this set up for 2 years but it is very likely the anti cheat software recognized unfamiliar button from an "external" source and ran into any kind of failure. but it must be some new behaivor from the software due to never occured before.

now it runs again normal as previous and im happy that i just cost my time <3

BSOD due to EAC and other Programs

    Hi illex115,

Thanks for raising your concern in Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you encountered BSOD due to EAC and other Programs. Based on your analysis information, there are three errors totally: 0x1E:KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED; 0x50:PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA; 0xF7:DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER. And it is recommended to refer to the steps in this article | Troubleshoot blue screen errors (microsoft.com) to solve the current BSOD issues.

Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.

Why am I getting a BSOD when I launch a game that uses Easy Anti Cheat?

This is a PC I built myself. I have swapped out RAM, swapped in my old GPU, and I have done a prime 95 test with no errors. I even swapped in a new motherboard and did a clean install. I feel like I have ruled out most of the hardware issues at this point. I have no other issues except for the BSOD when launching a game with EAC
