    Brother can't access my Xbox Live Membership


    Hello,

    I just renewed my Xbox Live membership, and my brother wants to use it on his account. We both use the same console, but only I can access Xbox Live. I made sure this console was my home Xbox, and I went to the store on Xbox to share my Xbox Live, but nothing
    happened. Any help?

    Note:

    I am in an Xbox Family and I'm a kid with no restrictions, does that have anything to do with it?

    Not exactly. If Brother 1 has Xbox Live, and sets his home console to Brother 2s, then both would be able to access Xbox Live. Brother 1 because his GT is the one with online access, and Brother 2 because of the home Gold.

    Thats what I was doing for a while with a friend of mine. I didnt bother buying my own Xbox Live for about a year since her profile was on my Xbox One and set to Home.

    Get what I mean?

    Do you have an Xbox Live Gold membership? Also, is your account an adult account, as it may be parental controls blocking your access?
    I do have Xbox Live Gold membership, it's on kid's but I enabled everything as I think. It worked on my brother's account with same settings but when we removed ourselves from Microsoft Family and it stopped working for him too.

    You need a full gold membership in order to access games with gold.

    You can't do it with xbox live trials.
