broken xbox update

my console recently updated to version 10.0.10586.1024 (th2_xbox_rel_1510.151203-1909) but now its super slow and wont log in or start any apps or games i have been messing around with it all day and since its a preview build i cant find the offline update
tool for it. i dont know how else to fix my console. any help would be greatly appreciated.

the update seems to have messed up some peoples routers and connections , you may have router issues slowing things down , there are ways to check that if you have the router model , here is the tool for the update ...

well thats have i have been trying to do but none of those support my version i have tried every single one even the factory reset but none of them helped the first 3 all gave me errors and the factory reset didnt actually reset anything it just deleted
all of my stuff and made me go through the setup process

 

What kind of modem and router , wired or wireless ? Routers have been causing some strange issues....so when you did the factory reset you still have the same version ? Can you do a factory reset from settings ?

 

I just checked mine and that's the same version I got....you may want to post on the preview forum , but I read over there that if you opt out then do a factory reset it wont update to it ....I have NO IDEA if that's true...still could be router related

I am using a wireless router and yes when I did the factory reset both from the settings app and then via offline update my Xbox stayed at the same version.

And I don't believe that if I opt out it would help because right now my console doesn't even have the preview app and I can't log in to my account so there's no way of opting out

 

You should post in the preview forums or the preview support forum,

If you go into apps scroll to the far right you should find your dashboard app ready to install as your system is running slow give it time to show up if not already there.

 

your not alone I am having the same issue, are you in the UK because apparently its a UK issue?

 

its so annoying coz I cant play the new destiny sparrow racing update.

I've had an issue a bit like this except I can't access anything at all, not even the dashboard screen. After the loading screen it just cuts to black. It's not the console turning off or the HDMI cutting out because i've tried 2 different tv's now and the
controller still vibrates if I hold the xbox button. I've stressed out all ways of turning it off and on and I'm convinced this update broke my xbox

 

dingogotmybaby mine does the exact same thing you just have to let it sit on the black or green screen for a long time try turning it on and off multiple times. Mine did the same thing it just takes a while to turn on
