Broken xbox returned to me "it's not broken." It worked for 3 days and broke ...

After 20 minutes of working in the chat system to tell my customer service advisor that YES MY XBOX REALLY IS BROKEN and I am not doing something stupid, I got an RMA. The disc drive makes a HORRIBLE whirring / grinding sound.

After 2 weeks I got my Xbox back with a note saying 'there's nothing wrong with it."

It actually did work for 3 days and now is making a horrible sound again!

I'm so frustrated - I have to now wait 2 more weeks! and spend how many hours wading through their BS web pages to get ANOTHER RMA!!!

Xbox One Controller is a relly bad quality product!

I bought my Xbox One Dec 16th 2016.

After 3 days, the controller broke. It was the left joystick.

I got a new one, and it lastet 6 days before it broke!!!

I returned it again, and this controller lasted for almost 2 weeks(!!!) then it broke. Left joystick again!!

I returned it again this morning, and since I have off from work today, I started to play FIFA 17. This controller lasted 45 minutes!!!

Thats my 4th controller in less than a month!!!!

What a crappy, cheap product Microsoft has made!!!

The controller for my Xbox360 lasted 3 years before I had to replace it.

Very disappointing,, Microsoft!!!

 

I'm in a similar boat. I sent mine in to be fixed because one of the gears seems to be loose in the disc drive and makes a noise every time a disc is inserted or ejected. It works fine now but it WILL stop working eventually. I got it back yesterday saying
nothing was fixed because it's fine but that's not the worst part. The worst part is that it was sent back to me with a NASTY scratch on top. It honestly looks like somebody grabbed a knife, stuck it in, and dragged it across. It's a DEEP scratch. It was
a brand new console too. I bought it, used it one night, and sent it the following day to be fixed. I'm taking it to GameStop on Monday to see if they'll exchange it since I'm still within the 30 day window but I don't know if they will now with the scratch
on top. If they won't, I guess I'll contact Microsoft to see if I can get a replacement console. I hope it works out either way.

 

So I took it back to GameStop and was able to exchange it. Unfortunately, this one is now makes all sorts of clicking and "staticky" noises but the disc drive is fine so I guess that's a plus. I'm not exchanging it again though as I'm fed up with all the
issues. Not sure if I want throw in the towel just yet and get out of gaming...

 

I took the second one back, got another one, and this one works perfectly. Stick with it, OP. I'm sure they'll eventually get it squared away.
