Broken Xbox One Games links on Gold Account...

I have just noticed that when viewing my list of Xbox One games on my account via my PC the links to the following games that I brought for my Xbox One takes me to an error page.

Couldn't get access to my gold live status on XBOX ONE

Well a bit of both, I brought Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition (Xbox One) from Amazon UK which download 30+ GB I guess for the rest of the game, but in the box I had a card to redeem the rest of the game.

The game itself along with the Destiny Expansion Pass both show up in my list of games, however when I click on them it takes me to a "Ooops! What happened to this page?" i.e. Page Not Found.

All my old Xbox 360 games that I have discs for are showing up, but only the ones that I had to redeem a code for extra content etc., but they are all working fine when I click on them.

So Microsoft seems to of either moved the page and forgot to update it in my list, or they broke it.

My guess its the first one.

It's likely neither, Paul! Though, the first may seem likely, what I think is happening is that because you redeemed the game through a code, it's registered in the system differently. The site that the page is linking to is for the version of the game you
have, which technically doesn't exist on the site, but is perfectly valid.

I'm going to find out if this should be happening or if we need to have it directing to the product pages that users buy off of our site. To make sure I have everything right, you're seeing these games under the "My Games" section here on the site, correct?

 

Yeah, I login onto this site and then select my profile and then select the My Game link and select on view all Xbox One games and it displays them both.

I am thinking it needs to point to the bundle version of the game instead, but I might be wrong.

Perfect! I'll dig into this and get back to you sometime today about what steps we'll take.

 

Sorry about not getting to you yesterday! I got confirmation for what I thought was going on, and then got so busy I spaced responding! Definitely my fault here.

It looks like this is all by design. Because of the way you received the content, it's considered a "hidden" product. So the page is going to be broken when you click on it. While you have full access to everything, the site directs to a page that technically
doesn't exist, and there's no way to really fix that because of the way the site works with our products.

Hopefully that makes sense! Let me know if you have any further questions about this.

Don't take this the wrong way here, I don't expect to get any reply here. but the way I see it, I brought a brand new physical copy of a game for your Xbox One Console, it doesn't matter where I got it from, and to say that the link to the game that links
to a non existing page is working as intended, that is complete BS, now if I had brought a digital copy of the game its would all be fine and would link to a valid page, one again I say BS.

This is just bad development plain and simple.

And this is what happens when you hire people that cannot program or have very little development skill.

I guess this is what happens when you lay off loads of your good developers when you moved over to windows 10.

Like I said at the start of this reply, I don't expect to get a reply.
