    Hi,

    Is there any way to repair a broken RS stick button? It is the second controller I own where the stick button breaks and I just want a way to repair it since it’s litteraly the only button not functioning on a 3 month old controller. I claimed warranty from
    my first controller to get the second one. The second one’s warranty just expired 10 days ago. I’m willing to pay $$ to get both fixed but I find it’s such a waste to trash them, again because of one button malfunctioning.

    Please help a gamer out.

    as whiteshadow said its the right stick for a takedown. being new to xbox the controller has 4 bumper buttons LB, LT, RB, RT and the sticks also can be pushed and they are LS and RS you will find in most shooters RS is used for melee combat

    I didn't mean for that to be directed at you, you can play whatever style that suits you. It's about enjoyment at the end of the day, but the default button layout for Halo is a preferred method for me. I don't care if my analog sticks get messed up, I would
    just buy a new one. I wouldn't want Crouch on RS unless it was the only way because I prefer Crouch/Movement for LS and Aiming/ADS for RS. I prefer Toggle for ADS and Hold for Crouch. I was attacking the B button as a Crouch because you could map Tactical/NOM4D
    button layout which would put Aiming/Prone (drop shot) on RS.

    Depending on your region your controller may still be under warranty. If you were in the UK for instance accessories would be covered for a full year. For this particular issue I'm afraid a replacement or repair is going to be your best option for this.

    If you head over to
    myservice.xbox.com     you can set up a replacement and find out if your controller is still under warranty.
