    I have been an xbox gold rewards memeber since 2011 with no breaks in my xbox live service. I never checked into the rewards program on a monthly basis(which seems to be my first mistake). I would only get on it every few years. The other problem I have
    is its linked to an outdated email so I do not receive updates. So here are a few questions i could use some help with. Your % back is on games and everything you buy? Can you not buy games through the xbox store and have to be purchased elsewhere? It doesn't
    show any of the games i have purchased in my statement. I have not received any funds to my xbox live account to be used towards other games i purchase so how do you receive your returns from purchases? Thanks to anyone that can help me out on this.

    You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
    https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/
    .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
    back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

    In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
    the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
    get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

    Based on this:

    Your % back is on games and everything you buy?

    -Your payback % will be based on non-offer, MyVIP eligible purchases. Any purchase that goes towards an offer will not also award payback. If your purchase is a consumable, pre-order, or subscription, it will not be eligible for MyVIP, and will therefore
    not award payback. Since your purchases in December were all consumables (Madden Points) that month did not award payback. Since your purchases in February went towards offers (MyVIP boost, Games on Demand) they did not award payback.

    Can you not buy games through the xbox store and have to be purchased elsewhere?

    -We only track purchases made through the Xbox store, although occasionally we will have offers for physical purchases from MicrosoftStore.com like specific games or hardware. This will be noted on the offer page for that offer, and in the FAQ for that offer.
    But the majority of our offers are for digital Xbox store purchases, and MyVIP is only eligible for Xbox store purchases.

    It doesn't show any of the games i have purchased in my statement. I have not received any funds to my xbox live account to be used towards other games i purchase so how do you receive your returns from purchases?

    -If you go to your MyStatement on the MyRewards page and sort that section by lifetime, you will be able to see all Credit and Deposit events in your account. We see multiple deposit events from payback for your account. You can confirm these deposits as
    currency on your commerce page at (Sign in to your Microsoft account), where they will be listed as a refund with a negative amount (since we are adding funds). These funds are placed as currency in your Microsoft
    Account, and can be used as your payment method, similar to adding gift cards to your account and using it as your payment method.

    Right sorry I should have been more specific. I'm missing rewards from re-upping my gold status about a week ago now and purchasing Wolfenstein about 2-3 days ago.

    As Smwutches says, we no longer award Credits for Gold renewals. Also, since your purchase did not complete any offers, it will be a part of your MyVIP payback, which is calculated as a monthly whole and placed as pending midway through the following month.

    As of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold.

    There are currently no offers Wolfenstein qualifies for. If you are eligible for VIP rebates, it would be part of your rebate for this month. Rebates are calculated after the end of the month and given by the 15th of the next month. So it would be too soon
    to see credits pending for October purchases.
