BROKEN POWER SUPPLY

Last night, my console wouldn't turn off. I turned it off, and it would simply turn itself back on. After 3 or 4 attempts, it finally turned off. This evening I came home from work to find that my xbox wouldn't turn on at all. I checked the support website
and tried everything it said and it seemed like my power brick and/or cables are faulty as there is no power what so ever (I.e. LED light on the brick is not on). Eventually I managed to get through to the support line and the lady I spoke too was very helpful
and is sending me a means of sending off my broken accessory. However, I had to use this as a last resort, i tried to sort it online but after registering my console and selecting 'replacement accessory' and getting to the checkout screen; clicking anything
would take me straight back to the 'register a console' screen. The worst part about this is,
MY CONSOLE IS 2 MONTHS OLD. This is the first time I have ever doubted Microsoft in my life (every gadget I own is Microsoft). All I want is a console that won't break and that will allow me to blow off some steam on Destiny after
a hard day. Is that too much to ask? After only two months of owning this console I'm having to send parts off to be replaced (which I KNOW is not going to be a quick thing). I am VERY unhappy and wonder if anyone else has been in a similar situation? I also
want to know if my 1 year warranty is now void as I have essentially already claimed on it? Thanks.

Do I really need to send a broken power supply to get a new power supply.

 

My xbox fell from my stand, now its broke HELP!

If your Xbox console and your power supply fell then that's a big problem, your power supply is probably broken and not just that your Xbox console might be broken too. If you have a friend or any other way to get another power supply you should try to see
if your Xbox console is working that way you know if it's just your power supply or your console too.

That's fantastic news. If this had happened say a year or two down the line I probably wouldn't have minded so much, its that as I said my console is still virtually new so I was surprised to have failures this early on.

 

My xbox one wont turn on all the way. It starts for a couple seconds then shuts off. No picture on my tv pops up and the power supply ligjt changes color like its supposed to, whote when the xbox TRIES to turn on and orange when it's off.

 

That's what it supposed to do when its faulty, mine just does nothing. Looks like you will have to do what I have and send for a new one. Its all free if you have warranty
