    Broken power cord, trying to figure out how to get a new one?


    The three prong power cord that plugs into the wall and runs into the power block of the xbox. One of the little gold connectors on the inside of the side that goes into the block is broke. therefore, not enough power going into the xbox. Is there a way
    to get a new cord?

    trying to get a new power cord

    Find the civilian IT staff providing support to your base. You may have to backtrack or put a call in to whatever base is supporting yours. They should either know who to contact at MS, or should be able to find out.

    did you try using the power cord from the one that is working into the two that aren't. It could be that both the power cords have broken and cant get enough power to the 360

    well ventilated.My new console works with both of the old power cords and I get no red rings on the broken consoles.I get one green light on the consoles at start up then they go out.

    The Xbox might be broken as the other Ambassador has suggested or you might simply need to get a new HDMI cord, because the old one might be broken. I would try to get a new cord, before sending your Xbox in to fixed just to see if its maybe the broken cord.
