Broken Power Brick or broken Xbox one?

I've tried it out with an other power brick and it actually worked. The first one was broken.

Solution: replace the power brick.

Are you sure that it's your Xbox and not a broken power brick? If you have a friend with the same power brick, try his!

If your xbox works, you'll know that it's the power brick.

Yup just shuts off. It worked fine the day I used it. I took a break and when I tried to put it on....nothing. that's why I ordered a new brick.

It sounds like it may be but without checking with a multimeter no way to tell. Have you tried it on different outlets available to you? It could be "dirty" power
