    Broken party chat. Win 10 to Xbox 1


    When I connect to a party everyone else in the party hears an extremely load noise, even if I'm not talking. It's not my mic because I can talk and hear just fine on other apps such as discord. How do I fix this?

    even when 360 didn't have party chat it felt like 60% of matches didn't have mics, i remember the original xbox 9/10 people had a mic and it was awesome 360 it was like 6/10 and after party chat it was like 1/10 people were in game chats.

    Party chat is broken on my end I can't leave a party once I join and it just says attempting to leave party for an hour straight. I'm just using private chat atm but I would love to not have to sign out or reset my Xbox to use party chat again.

    Answer: Can't Connect To Party Chat (Xbox One)

    Wrong. The kinect turns off for chat when a headset is detected. This is proved by the fact that it will switch to Kinect chat when the headset is removed or the controller dies.

    Xbox Party Chat is broken.
