First, the symptoms of the hard drive, and then I have a few questions

-The Xbox will start turning on, then right before or right after it loads up the dashboard, it freezes.

-When the hard drive is not in, no freezing. No game data, either, of course.

    Now for questions.

If I transfer data from the corrupted hard drive to a new one, will it corrupt the new hard drive?

Can you even transfer data from corrupted hard drives?

Does it just transfer games, or does it also transfer my save data from said games?

    :)

    Star wars battlefront 2 data

So I know you cannot download the expansion pack for this anymore, but I do have the downloadable content on one of my hard drives. Is there any way of just transferring that data to another hard drive without transferring all the other data as well?

If you know for certain it is corrupted, avoid doing a transfer. You could transfer content but the odds are good that the content will be corrupted in the new HD. Transfer cable transfers game saves, profiles, achievements, game licenses etc.
