Broken Elite Controller, what can I do?

So I had gotten the Xbox Elite controller about a year ago, and well it broke a few days ago. More specifically the LB button broke. Basically I can't use LB in any game now which really, really stinks. Now bare with me here as I going to go into a bit
of a rant here. I paid $150 for this controller. The controller is awesome. But it lasted barely a year. I got my Xbox one in 2014 and it's still working. The controller that came with it is still working properly. I haven't nearly put as many hours onto the
elite controller as I have on the regular controller. To sum up my point, why aren't the elite controllers made better. Why do I have to fork over $150 for a controller that will likely break just like any other cheap controller. I don't know what to do with
the controller I have now. The box for it is gone. I doubt I still have the receipt for it. Any warranty is likely expired. I don't want to buy another one. I'm hoping somebody can give me options of what I can do.

Xbox 1 Elite Controller Broken, PID not accepted.

Hi onmy xbox 1 elite controller one of the paddles is broken. And the PID is not accepted by the support. I cant make an repair request. What can i do?

Sorry to say that controllers of any kind only have a 90 day warranty. I've had my elite controller from the day it was release and use it every day for several hours a day and it's still in good shape.

If it is a replacement contact customer service they should have information on the past repair/replacement explain your situation and I'm sure they will be able to assist. Hopefully you have a spare to use in the meantime.

Thats not right because the controller should still be under warranty whether its a refurbished one or not. You bought a new console and is covered for a certain period of time .Device
Service and Repair should be able to register your whole xbox including the controller. If anything you can request a call back and ask to speak to a supervisor. Explain the situations in detail. Request
a call back

Your controller should be covered under warranty since you got it during Christmas time. Another options is to try to return the console back to the store you got it from and ask for a new one. Good luck

Yep as long as you registered it you should have no problem getting it fixed, if you have the possibility of going to a Microsoft Store, start there, call them, set up an appointment and they should fix you right up, I had no problems when my surface got
bricked (surface RT) they said come on by, I did and they just swapped it out, no questions asked.
