Broken controller for no reason

My xbox one s white controller that came with the console is starting to crack between the A and B buttons for no reason. I treat my controllers like gold and on the grips there's a big gap where you can tell the controller wasn't put together right ....I've
only owned it a couple months

No but my dog did bite a cord for a wired controller and broke it.

If it's only been a couple months and the controller is already defective, it should still be within warranty time (90 days).

With your console's serial number, you can
begin scheduling a repair now.

go to best buy, buy a controller from them but ALWAYS buy the warranty usually $5-20 they will warranty the controller for any reason at all no questions asked ive broken and had a few controllers fail and they haven't let me down yet

Seems, to me, he might have a reason to be paranoid that he isn't fully disclosing here.

Possible reasons:

1. Your batteries are being detected as very low. The Xbox controller shuts off vibration the battery is very low. Try different batteries?

2. You have vibration turned off in the game options.

3. Your controller may be broken.

There are a few things that could be the issue.

1. The account settings are set so that the account is unable to use voice chat of any kind.

2. The headset you are using is not compatable with the controller, or the wire for the headset is broken in some way.

3. The port for the headset on the controller is broken or just isnt detecting the headset. For me personally i have this issue with my headset since for some reason using my sound mixer attachment on my controller mutes my headset. A simple unplug and repluging
of the headset fixes this issue.
