Broken controller can't be fixed !?

Hi,

I own an xbox one, with 2 controllers. I only use one of them, the second one i only use for splitscreen, wich never happens. The 'Y' button on the controller stopped working out of the blue. Its warranty is expired, so now i can't get it repaired or anything
like that. Now they want to bill me €55.- to get a replacement for something that isn't used more than ten times. ( its brand new ). When i contact the chat they can't help me and act like i'm an idiot who just wants free stuff.

For the record, i get that i don't get a new one since the warranty expired. I just think it's BS that i have to buy a new one instead of getting it repaired. It's not the support i'm used to from Microsoft.

Faulty Day 1 Xbox One Controller Service Help

I sent in my day one edition controller to be fixed the outside shell wasnt *** in properly. The "repaired" one I got back was also faulty. The joysticks click when moved. Isn't that something that should be checked before shipping?? Do I have to wait another
2 months to get a broken controller sent to replace my broken controller??? Frustrated...

Actually the terms of the service are clear on the accessory issue, every MS accessory has a warranty of 90 days. If you want to have a replacement you should pay the established fee

^ Can't afford the broken controllers, new TV or therapy...

I am having the same problem. My left analog stick is drifting up, and it is getting worse, almost to the point where I can't control it. Microsoft needs a fix, nothing is broken in the controller, seems like a calibration is needed. Is there a way to
recalibrate the analog sticks?

There are no user suggested fixes for controllers. If broken and not under warranty you will need to replace it.
