Broken controller and Plug and play

Hi there,

I recently bought a plug and play charge pack, but after a couple of weeks it was getting harder to charge my controller the wire that plugs into the controller just wouldn't light up. so then i had to hold the wire in a certain place just to get it to charge
my controller. i then used a friends cable to see if it was my wire that had broke or my controller after lots of testing it turns out it's both so now I'm back to using normal battery's after the wire and the place where you put the wire into the controller
has broke, I'm here to ask if i use the online service center how long will it take for them to send a new one? ( I'm guessing that's the way the system works) just curious cause don't want to be to long without playing a game and really don't want to buy
a new controller just in till they send a new cone back

I've spoken to many friends about this and this problem has also effected 3 other friends after a quick search online it seems that it's not just a small number of us it's happening to, i wounder if Microsoft has any plans to fix this issue

Controller problem

I have just bought a halo4 limited edition controller as my other controllers left stick broke. When I plug in my play and charge kit into my halo 4 controller it doesn't work it only works when I plug in the charger. However on my controller with the
broken left stick the play and charge works fine! What's wrong is it my controller?

The same thing has happened with my day one controller as well, I have to place my controller at a certain angle for it to charge and even then the light sometimes doesn't turn on. Really hope some one can help with this.
