Broken Audio Jack

About three weeks ago I bought a new xbox controller off of amazon. It has been working fine since yesterday. The audio Jack started to not work about two weeks ago. I've cleaned the audio jack. I've tried to troubleshoot the problem
on my own and it still doesn't work.

Have you used this controller on a PC with Windows 10 as well as the console?

Are you seeing the same issue if you sync the controller with another console as well?

Audio jack broken?

I’ve beeen having an issue where my controllers that are perfectly fine just out of no where stop letting me talk in the party and ik it’s not the headset cause I’ve tried it on other devices and it works. The controller still lets me hear the party and
the game audio. I’ve had this problem 3 times and I’ve had to buy 3 new controllers and i really don’t want to buy anymore. Is there anything I could use so I can fix it.

 

I would suggest asking Amazon for a replacement. Have you tried to see if there was a controller update available?

 

I have not seen an update, but I am still waiting Amazons reply.

 

If Amazon was the one selling it you should ask them for a new one and not here on this forums...
