Sounds like you may have a hidden SSID? also, if it is a mixed signal coming from the router. EX. brodcasting in mixed B and G mode, disable the mixed brodcast. brodcast on G (or N) and change to channel 11 for the brodcast channle. also, any mirrors, cordless
phones? anything that my dampen the signal? How far away is the console from the router? how many walls are between it, how many rooms, how many floors? what is in between it? microwave? cordless phone? do you have any wirless headsets with a base station?
