    So I was wondering if I'm experiencing the problem due to being in the insiders program - or if it's just the UI on general.

    I recently been using a webcam connected directly into my console to stream to Mixer. Not only do I have issues with the UI not cooperating when I start the broadcast (the little broadcast overlay displaying the minutes and viewers won't appear, or sometimes will show my previous broadcast overlay) but I can't even access the camera settings (where to locate the camera on the screen, zooming and panning)

    Anyone else experience this while being in the Insiders program? I've made it known with my feedback just was curious with others experience.

    are you on the insider program ? i cannot be 100% certain as its a while since i used twitch to stream, but i know at one point there was an issue with the twitch app and you had to be on the insider program to broadcast via webcam, im not sure if this has been solved and its another issue, but once i entered the xbox preview insider program it solved my issues at the time.

    Hi there , thanks for reaching out.

    Are you enrolled in the Insider Preview program? Also, does this issue you're experiencing occur with clips of any duration and are you only seeing it happen when your external is selected as the default location for these clips
    to be saved to? Does this happen with clips featuring gameplay from any game or just one particular game?

    When on your Xbox One console when you go to Settings>Preferences>Broadcast & capture, do you have Broadcast set to "Allow broadcasts and game captures"? Also, you can alter your capture location via that settings menu?
    I am on the insider preview program. This happens with any length of video selected whether or not an external drive is selected. The only capture that works if I select "Up to One Hour" at the beginning, then ending the recording after any length of time.

    Way too many updates

    If you are getting updates every few days, then your console is probably in the Xbox insider program. To stop the updates from happening every few days, then you need to launch the Xbox insider hub, and remove the console from the insider program.

    If your console is not in the insider program, then your console has probably just updated to the July update, you won't get another one until the next public update is released.

    Can you confirm if you are in the Insider program (formerly preview program) as this may be the reason you are receiving multiple console update in a short space of time. If you are in the insider program then it should be possible to move your console to
    a different insider tier that receives less updates or unenrol from the program altogether.

    Unenroll old or unused devices from the Xbox Insider Program

    • Sign in on any Xbox One console or Windows 10 PC with your Microsoft account registered in the Xbox Insider Program.
    • Launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
    • In the Xbox Insider Hub, navigate to Settings > Manage devices.
    • Select the console (s) or device (s) you wish to remove from the Xbox Insider Program, then select Done.
