    Broadcast notification while using Twitch via a capture card


    I am trying to take advantage of the fact that XBox live will announce anytime you broadcast your game. My setup includes a capture card to my Mac and streaming to Twitch through OBS. I want my Xbox Live account to recognize that I am streaming via my Twitch
    account and announce it to my friends list like it does if I stream right through the Twitch app on Xbox.

    I read there is supposed to be support for this, but it never works for me. Any ideas or help is appreciated!

    Activity Feed Not Updating when I Broadcast

    Anyone having issues with Activity Feed not updating when you broadcast using a capture card? I stream my Xbox One using an Elgato HD60 and it used to update my activity everytime I broadcast an Xbox game. Now it has stopped.

    My twitch account is linked to my console and my privacy settings are correct.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    I've tried talking to Xbox Support via twitter and support.xbox.com neither could help me.

    Possible to stream a game and music over twitch?

    Hello all.

    When I stream to twitch using a capture card on my 360 I also stream the music that I am playing on the 360. I haven't been able to do that on the xb one using the twitch app.. I hear the music on my television set, but it doesn't come through on the livestream.
    Is there any way to have the cd player or some other music player that come through on the twitch broadcast?

    It can also vary which way you're broadcasting, Please advice which way you are broadcasting. Either via pc with capture card or straight from console.
    Through the Twitch app on the console itself for both of us. No capture card or PC

    Having same issue. This response is not helpful. Twitch is installed and linked to my account. I am able to launch twitch and start broadcasting, but every game says this cannot be broadcast. This was not an issue on earlier dashboards even on XSX. Something is hobbling the broadcast ability. Is there a workaround that doesn’t involve an external capture card?

    Unfortunately, this is not possible. If you make a broadcast on Twitch you can save the broadcast and the party chat audio will be included. If I'm not mistaken, to include the audio in the clip it is necessary to use an external capture card.

    Hi there Martincho Arias,

    Are you on the xbox insider program at all?. There might be some reduction on the lenght of your video clips but they are for just clipping, If you want to record full game clips you can broadcast to mixer/twitch and do things that way or record via capture
    card :).

    install twitch on xbox and start broadcasting, not possible for facebook or youtube unless you use a capture device and a pc.
