    Broadcast DVR Server


    Hi everyone,

    So, from a few month i'm stock with windows 10 and I have this Xbox things that I never used et never want to use. So I want to unistall it and I can't, it's not allowed by windows 10 ! And in addition of that, the Broadcast DVR Server who's gonna open automatically
    without my permission. So I closed it and 2 minutes after he reappear in the task manager and take a lot of memory for nothing.

    So please, help me to unistall this ***.

    Game DVR: "There's nothing to record. Play some more and try again."

    I've been having the same problem! It seems like everyone has been having problems with the Game DVR lately, so maybe they'll update it soon. But I have the same problem you do when I try recording video's. I tried ending the Broadcast DVR Server in Task
    Manager, but that didn't seem to help.

    Broadcast DVR Server Runs out of Memory

    I recently attempted to record game play using the DVR feature in Windows 10 only to have it use up all my memory and die every attempt. As a test, I opened Task Manager on an alternate monitor and sorted it by Memory usage. I fired up a game and started
    recording. Next I watched as Broadcast DVR Server gradually allocated more and more memory until it was using virtually all of my 16GB and then crashes my game.

    My only option has been to disable the feature in the Xbox app. It would be a cool feature to use and the seamless game bar integration is sweet. But if it unnecessarily eats all 16GB of memory after recording for a minute or two, that's unacceptable.

    Is there any way to fix this or is it a known bug that's being worked on?

    Overkill and not really a solution.

    To disable the DVR you just needed to look at the xbox settings.

    XBOX app > settings > DVR for games -> Disable background recording or something like that.

    If you wanted to remove the entire xbox app, there's a few more steps you'd take and it may even break part of the OS.

    G'day tedi! That is essentially the same control, updated to include broadcasting. If you don't want Game DVR recording, simply disable "Allow Broadcasts and Game DVR uploads."

    Xbox One Twitch - Access Revoked???

    Well now I have the added insult that I can't use Game DVR to record clips because Twitch thinks its broadcasting and isn't, even though I quit Twitch, Game DVR thinks Twitch is still broadcasting :(
