    Do you have your Broadcast and Capture preferences set to mic on (under Settings>Preferences>Broadcast &Capture)? Also if it is on, check your volumes directly under Mic On check box.

    Click on the xbox buttom on your controller ... click Broadcast & capture... click advance settings.. check the box for mic on.

    I have done all of that - the hardest thing to find is the audio - mic on/off and I think that was found in the "broadcast and capture" settings in the preferences tab - or is it somewhere else?
