    Bring new emojis and custom sticker support to Xbox chat


    Xbox chat is a key part of how we connect with friends and groups — but it feels outdated compared to modern messaging platforms. I’d love to see Xbox introduce new emojis, the ability to create and send custom stickers, and even suggested stickers based on what we type.

    Suggestions: – Add a larger and modern emoji library, including animated and game-themed emojis – Let users create their own stickers using screenshots, avatars, or custom art – Introduce official sticker packs based on Xbox franchises (Halo, Forza, Gears, etc.) – Enable sticker sharing in private chats, group chats, and LFG replies – Add a “Suggested Stickers” feature that recommends stickers based on typed words or reactions – Allow users to favorite, pin, or organize their most-used emojis and stickers – Make it available across console, Xbox app, and web

    This would make Xbox chat more expressive, fun, and social — especially for players who love to personalize their conversations and share reactions in creative ways.

    Type anything you want into the Bio field. Be it "I am a job maker" or if you want to use Emojis, use the Emoji keyboard on the Xbox One, or on your Windows 10 PC press Windowskey + . (period) to bring up an Emoji selection.

    I understand that you are having trouble on open emoji panel on Xbox using keyboard, and I understand your confusion.

    Unfortunately, on Xbox, there isn't a native keyboard shortcut to open the emoji panel directly when using a 60% keyboard. Currently, the only way to bring up the emoji panel while typing is to press the LT button on the Xbox controller. As of now, the Xbox system doesn't have an official method to bind a keyboard key to open the emoji panel.

    As a Community member, we are not involved in the development of Xbox, but of course I hope it will be improved for the benefit of players like you, so I invite you to send feedback with the link below, and you can call more friends to do that too, It is more likely that a sufficient number of problem reports will be brought to the attention of the related team.

    If they're going to shorten the amount of characters used in gamertags they should at least let us use emojis?

    Emojis may create issues in online games... not all games support emojis in their interfaces. It would appear as an ugly box next to your gamertag. I don't want that haha.
