Bring back "Avoid Player" for Xbox One

For the first time the other night I felt the need to avoid a player. I went to their gamertag on my xbox one and found that I can only block or report them.

While blocking someone will (hopefully) get the end result you are looking for, I was disappointed to see that the avoid for reason X, Y, or Z has gone away. If I'm avoiding someone because they are quitting early/leaving that should be reported as such as
opposed to trash talking and such. I wonder why this was done away with.

I know that certain developers (I think Bungie was among them?) that matched up rage quitters with rage quitters and so on. This helped reduced the toxicity of the game as all the negative players got paired against each other.

Anyway, does anyone else miss this feature and want it back?

Bring Back the "Play All Music" button!

Being an original Zune Music customer, the first Xbox Music app and its featurelessness irritated me. It was buggy (kept redownloading and duplicating songs) wireless music syncing and playlist syncing was non existent and still is, as far as offline playlist
creation goes. But it got better and better at being a cloud music player and I learnt to use WMP and the desktop syncing app. Great! Now this mew 8.1 version comes out, I'm annoyed that it isn't as good at band bios and accompanying band iconography but meh.
What really "grinds my gears" is that I can't just simply play all my music anymore! I used to be able tap, swipe and play. I now cannot. Unless I spend the time adding my 400+ albums to one playlist AND remember to add every new acquisition as I download
it to this playlist I can't do that. Where's the "Play all music" button gone? I can't just tap, swipe and play then sit back and enjoy any more. Please Microsoft, bring this button back! For me its 1,000 times more important than the start button being brought
back. I didn't care about that. A persons entire collection should ALWAYS be considered by default a playlist by itself. Thankfully, my Windows Phone still has a simple "play" button for my entire collection. Don't you dare take that away too!

 

On the Xbox One, blocking a player has a similar affect as the avoid me feature on the Xbox 360, but it's actually better. On the previous console, avoiding a player simply meant that you wouldn't play with them, while blocking them, only blocked their communications
with you (messages, invites, etc.); on the new console, both of those features have been rolled into one. If you want to report them on the XB1 for a specific reason (like quitting early), then simply use the "report" feature - that's where you can find options
for the X, Y, or Z that you mentioned. The system in this regard works the same way with the same desired results, but is simply organized differently, but in such a way that it is actually more streamlined.

The system is also need making better, if you bloke someone and they end up in your MP lobby, the system mutes everyone in the game, even the people in your group/party.

So you have to spend time unmuting everyone except the person you have block and you can't always remember who they are.

I don't know if something recent got changed or not, but now when I select report from a player's gamer tag, the old options are back. I was able to report a guy for quitting early tonight.

Neko, the quitting early option has been available for months on the XB1. Do you not report people very often?

 

This new system is actually bettercas it will notify you if a player on your blocked list enters the game lobby.

It will give you the choice to stay or leave.

Muting also does the same thing once you mute someone they stay muted forever (to you) until yiu unmute them..
