    Bring Achievements to OG Xbox Games for Backward Compatibility.


    So with the news and release of Original Xbox games come to backwards compatibility I think they should also add achievements to those games for added replay-ability. All that would have to happen is for an update to be put out for the games that adds them.
    Now I'm not sure if there is already a thread out of this topic and it not I hope I can get people on board with me as well. As well as get the attention from Microsoft Xbox to possibly make this happen. Leave some feedback and your thoughts!!

    The Whole Reason I Got An Xbox One...

    Having a game show up on the backwards compatibility list is dependent on the creators of the game. They are the ones who ok the games to be backwards compatible. I'm sure your game will be available at some point. Speaking of backwards compatibility, did
    you see the E3 announcement? They are going to add og Xbox games to the backwards compatibility list as well Bring Achievements to OG Xbox Games for Backward Compatibility. :)

    Will we be able to play all of the Original Xbox Discs on Xbox Scarlett?

    If they bring anything to the table I don't think it will be a true backwards compatibility. I think we will see a library of games available on Xcloud that are from OG Xbox days.

    The live for OG xbox games has been turned off for awhile. The only downside of doing backwards compatibility for OG games.

    If you didn't know. The OG NGB is in the xbox one store in backwards compatible. I believe for 10$. I downloaded it last year somewhere. Now hoping they bring ban NG2 also.

    Not going to happen.The backwards compatibility program ended in 2021 so no more og xbox/360 games will be made playable on the series x/s.

    The couldn't make all games backwards compatible due to technical & licensing issues.

    I understand that the OG xbox versions are backwards compatible on xbox 360 but this is primarily having the 360 versions be backwards compatible on xbox one
