    Brightness Problem


    My power went out when my Xbox One S was on and since reboot I have had a brightness issue. Whenever i bring up a new menu like pressing pause in a game or hitting my home button the screen gets very dark. Another problem is that during a game the brightness
    will randomly get lower or higher every few seconds. Is there any way I can fix this or is there something wrong in the box?

    It may also be the TV.

    Have you tried the console on a different TV/monitor?

    Try power resetting the TV and console.

    Hi,

    Sounds like a TV setting. If your display has a 'Game mode' turn this on and make sure any settings to do with automatically adjusting black levels and contrast are set to off.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. On the console
    power cycle the console off, but do not turn it back on. Once off want you to hold the
    power and eject button for 15 seconds or until you hear 2 beeps. This resets the resolution. Once done then try and go adjust the settings. Also, try a different HDMI port on the TV. Maybe that helps.

    Goto your Cable box adjust the HD settings to AUTO then goto Xbox TV part and select "Native"
