Bricked Xbox One Controller

I attempted an update for my Xbox one controller to accommodate my turtle beaches and it bricked my controller. I've tried every tip and trick that I've found on recent forums and my controller still won't power on.

I've been a faithful Xbox live member since the original Xbox halo release and have never had any problems of such abrupt nature with any of my units. Rings of death were the only problem I've ever had and that was usually after years of owning the Xbox.
I'm not asking for anything more than a replacement of my bricked controller caused by Xboxs controller update.

Also, Xbox please make this problem WELL KNOWN to those who are about to update, that controller may lose all functionality due to update and to proceed with caution. I don't mean fine print on agreements either, I mean big bold words saying something along
these lines, "WARNING: UPDATE MAY CAUSE CONTROLLER TO BE WORTH NOTHING MORE THEN PAPER WEIGHT, PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION." I'm not the kind of person to complain, but when your only Xbox controller gets fried from an update that is supposed to be coming
from the creators of said controller, even a rational person will get **** off.

Xbox One Elite controller not working anymore after (failed?) Xbox Accessories firmware upgrade

Just used xbox accesories in windows 10 anniversary to update my xbox one controller and now is bricked. This is *** ridiculous.

I have the same issue and it sucks because many others like you and I have it, so I made a giant tread so everyone can let their voice be heard at the same place. Simply comment to it to share your complain.
