    Bricked Xbox One Controller


    While updating the xbox one controller's firmware, it errored out. Now the controller will not respond or power one.

    Xbox One Elite controller not working anymore after (failed?) Xbox Accessories firmware upgrade

    Just used xbox accesories in windows 10 anniversary to update my xbox one controller and now is bricked. This is *** ridiculous.

    Have you tried removing the power from the xbox itself and letting it sit for a minute and then do a hard reset?

    I think removing the battery and plugging the cable directly without the battery fix the problem

    As Lexxite said, remove the battery pack and plug the controller directly into the console with a cable. Leave it there for awhile (5-10 minutes, maybe even longer), and it should turn back on.
