    Bricked Xbox one controller


    I tried updated my Xbox one controller so I could use my turtle beach headset. It started downloading then stopped and now it won’t even turn on at all. I tried taking out batteries and plugging into Xbox with a usb and holding the power button and menu
    at the same time. I’m not even getting a blink or anything. I tried finding out the problem and apparently it’s called bricking. If anyone could help me out I’d appreciate it thank you

    Xbox One Elite controller not working anymore after (failed?) Xbox Accessories firmware upgrade

    Just used xbox accesories in windows 10 anniversary to update my xbox one controller and now is bricked. This is *** ridiculous.

    As Lexxite said, remove the battery pack and plug the controller directly into the console with a cable. Leave it there for awhile (5-10 minutes, maybe even longer), and it should turn back on."

    • This worked. Thanks. Lol I didn't want to brick my day one controller. Thanks because now I do not have to buy a new one! Bricked Xbox one controller :D
