Bricked Xbox from update yesterday, offline repair tools don't work can't factory reset

There are a few things you can try before sending it in for repair. These don't always work, but they work for some people.

1. Hold the Xbox logo on the front of the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes, then try it again.

2. Perform a factory reset, using the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool:

If those don't work, I believe that a repair is your only option.

If none of the OSUDT files work and you've correctly followed the steps then you can try to Restore to Factory default.

If that doesn't work either then I suggest calling
Xbox Support by phone or following the steps on the
Devicesupport website to schedule a repair

If your wired , try a hard reset with the ethernet unplugged , if wireless , try it with router off ....if you can't get to your "settings" to do a factory restore , your only option is the "offline update tool"...or setup a repair...

To solve this issue, please try an Offline Update what you can finde here:
support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool. If this doesnt help, then do the Factory reset. If thiss all steps doesnt help, create Repair Oder.

i had the same problem yesterday and i used the Offline Update Diagnostic Tool and Restore Factory Defaults and it got the system working again
