Bricked deleting files

I was receiving messages that Xbox Live had an update for my console and wouldn't let us use Live. When trying to install the update it would download and then toss an error. I looked the error up and couldn't find much info... unanswered. Anyway, I assumed
it was just because the space was consumed and started to free up space. I deleted about 500MB worth of stuff and on the last, small game (15MB) that I was deleting everything hung. It appeared to get to 100% for the delete and just sat on that screen for
a solid 10-15 minutes. I turned the Xbox off and back on. It sounded like a fan turned on high speed or that the DVD was spinning fast and I had a red blinking light in the center of the power button. It stayed like this for about 10 or 15 seconds before
I unplugged it (power button was unresponsive). Unsure if it was just hot or whatever I pulled the device out of the AV rack it's in out into the open and plugged in elsewhere.

When I hit the power button I get the typical sound (da-ding) but nothing.... no lights, no sound from the unit, no video... nothing. I can hit that button all day for the sound but the device sits otherwise in silence.

What are my next steps??? Can someone point me to a link? I haven't done too many searches half because I'm not sure what all to search on. TIA!!

Apps not loading

contacted customer service..had 1 corrupted file....deleted it...cleared cache...deleted profile only....restarted console...downloaded profile again....then everything worked

to find the corrupted file...go to settings hard drive and look for each possible file...the corrupted file has a warning sign.
clearing cache - hard drive...press Y - did that 3 times

 

Deleting leftover game files?

Before the last major UI update for the Xbox One, there was a way to view all dead files on the hard drive which no longer had the games installed. This option on the storage page was taken out and I still have yet to find out how to get back to that screen.
Any help?

 

Oh, and btw.... Xbox 360 S that we received as a gift (new) about a year ago. Thank you!

 

Also, the unit is an Xbox 360S that we received as a gift (new) about a year ago. When I moved the device to an open space in the room I noticed that the color on the power brick was a solid orange. I'm not sure what color it should be, it's just additional
information. Thanks!
