Xbox One Aaron Paul Ad Is Messing With Consoles

I know some ppl will think this is a negative and I'm throwing it in the fact of ppl...but I'm not. This is a funny story and I just thought I would share it with you guys.

Apparently, the commercial with the Breaking Bad star is turning on Xbox Ones. In the commercial he says "Xbox On"...and ppl have been reporting that while watching TV and seeing this commercial their X1s are being turned on.

HA!

I just thought that was funny.

confuse with my xbox one help

I have had an Xbox One commercial turn mine on. Both of our cats have also brushed the power button turning it on as well.

Don't think I've ever managed to get my Xbox to turn on properly with voice commands but then the other day there was an Xbox advert on television with Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad. His voice turned on the Xbox from the advert. Typical.

 

I clicked your link (on my laptop)...... LOL............... he made my X1 go home and snap TV.......

If I'm watching TV, my Xbox is already on. Still, pretty funny though, I guess.

 

At E3 2013, I was watching it on my Xbox and a few times they said " Xbox blah blah blah" and my Kinect would pick it up and start doing something, normally rewinding the stream.

 

Yeah, I've seen the commercial with Aaron Paul; it's been out for a few weeks now. That being said, if they were watching TV through their Xbox One, that wouldn't happen.

Say now, that's funny! I always hard shut down mine for power saving reasons, but that's pretty awesome.

Good job it didn't say Xbox Turn Off. I usually watch trailers and such when I am gaming with the lappy next to me lol! Good stuff.

 

Tried to make it happen a few times by playing that commercial at different volumes, my One doesn't turn on.

 

^ Same here Genchy, I switched on the kinect, I calibrated it and tested it with my voice, but it would not turn on with that add, and also at various volume levels.

 

Awesome commercial though......
