    SO, this problem has been happening to me for a while.

    Whenever I boot up ANY game requiring DirectX to make it run, my display monitor remains completely fine, but my tv has this white (or black) static all over the screen, making it impossible to see anything. If this happens, even when I exit the game the problem persists. The only way I have found a fix to it is by disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable so that the TV display goes back to normal.

    I have tried playing other games that do not require DirectX, and the TV remains completely fine.

    I have not been able to play my modern games properly ever since, can anyone help?????

    Sounds like a graphics driver issue to me. Best to use a free program like DDU to remove your graphics driver completely and then install a fresh graphics driver.

    DDU will clear all the old files relating to graphics so new driver installs work better an prevent conflicts. I've used in numerous times over the years.

    It sounds to me like you have a problem with your graphics card or your graphics driver. You should contact your video card tech-support
