Brand New Xbox One stuck on start up

Hi

I'm having a problem with getting past the " your connected " screen on the initial start up and I've got an upset child who was looking forward to playing on it tonight.

After saying it is connected and displaying a green tick you have to press " A " button to advance but nothing happens. I get a tone and the " continue " icon moves but the screen will not advance to the next stage.

I have tried to reboot it, removed batteries from controller, unplugged wires and have even moved it out of her bedroom and connected it in the room so it is closer to router and still no joy.

Somebody must have an answer.

Ryse: Son of Rome Installation problems

Just put in my brand new game into my brand new xbox one and...

it won't install.

I looked it up and xbox.com says to go offline if installation was stuck at 0%, which it was. I went offline and now it just says in queue. The installation won't even start.

I put in bf4 and its at 50% now in offline mode.

any help?

 

L4D2 (Left 4 Dead 2) isn't working disk wise for Xbox One. I don't understand why though.

Im also having this disc issue with L4D2 on my BRAND NEW Xbox one. Should have just stuck with 360.

 

When you restart do you go to the Dashboard or does it continue with the initial startup process.

 

I would hard wire it with a cable and start over , LOTS of problems with the update on wireless imo...

I have just hard wired it to my router and still have the same issue

 

Can you skip the initial connection test? Just a thought that it might be easier troubleshooting the connection from the settings. There are some tools in the settings that might be useful.

Also, I am getting a warning on my Xbox that Purchase and Content Usage is experiencing issues. This makes me think that Xbox Live is having problems preventing you from completing the start up. Maybe wait it out for a little bit and try again later?

I Carn't skip to any other screen and I aren't even connected to xbox live.

So far all I've done is unbox it, connect wires and selected English language then connected to my router and that's as far as I can get.

 

Whatever issue they had seems to have been cleared. Give it another go. The problem might be with your initial connection to Xbox Live not an Internet connection.
