Brand new Xbox One stopped playing discs after one day

I bought an Xbox One Thursday night. I bought two games along with it. Starting last night, it refuses to launch either game. There is no error when I try to launch them; the game's splash screen displays for around 20 seconds and then it puts me back on
the dashboard.

I am able to launch games downloaded from the Xbox store.

I've tried changing the power settings, holding the power switch for 5 seconds to force it to shut off completely, and left it unplugged overnight, but nothing seems to work. Am I missing something obvious here?

Blu Ra Stopped Working

I have had my Xbox One for little over a year and rarely use it. Just recently after installing a DVD or game the console started making a buzzing noise. Last night while trying to watch a DVD it completely stopped playing. Now no discs will work at all.
The Blu-ray player has completely stopped. I’m not really sure what to do. This console is still brand new. HELP!

Riping audio cds to the hardrive and it fails everytime

So when i put a brand new cd in the xbox and try to rip it it fails everytime. I have no problem playing anything, music cds and games, i just cant rip cds brand new or copies. I get the circle with the line in it. It worked one day and then one day it stopped.
Please help i just wanna rip cds. Like i said itll play any cd with bo problem.

I have an Xbox one. Bought in 2014 brand new. It has stopped reading discs all together. Brand new and old. Not even an error code. Have tried all the trouble shooting processes and still nothing.

Anyone have any clue or help. I’m have no idea on cost or procedure of replacing the disc drive.

I'm having the same problem. Got brand new disc for christmas, it worked fine for one night then stopped working and tells me to clean the disc. Any solutions yet?

well I guarantee that all those skins are already on the disc, if they are then that is seriously immoral of them, we should get all of the content on the disc at point of sale, even if we have to play the game to unlock it. I don't mind brand new dlc 3
months down the line but this day one rubbish has to stop. till this changes I will be purchasing carefully from now on.

I originally purchased an Xbox one last November from Target. It worked fine for a while then the voice stopped working totally. I was within a 90 day period so Target exchanged it out for a Brand new Xbox One. I used it for 6 months then one day in June
2014 put a disc in and it would not load. It didn't make any noise or nothing. So I called Microsoft and they told me to send it in for repair. I called about 3 weeks after they had my Xbox and they said they misplaced my Xbox One. They told me someone closed
my ticket prematurely and they were sorry. After another 2 weeks go by I get my Xbox One back. I plug it in and this time it makes a grinding noise and wont load the disc all the way. So I call Microsoft again and they tell me that I need to send it in again.
I said okay. So I went to Walmart and bought another Xbox One brand new while I am waiting on mine to be fixed and I get an error that says I am sorry we cant play this disc. Try an Xbox one game , a music CD, or a movie on Blu-Ray or DVD. (0x80820002) So

(0x80820002) I am being totally serious when I tell you that I have wasted countless hours on trying to get an Xbox One to work and I am over it. I am returning this Xbox One and all the accessories I bought with it and I am finally making the move to the
Play Station 4.... You probably will think yeah right this guy has had 5 Xbox Ones and they all have had some type of disc error. I have never had anything like this happen ever.
