Brand New Xbox One S shutting down while starting Red Dead Redemption 2 and other games

I bought a new Xbox One S for christmas, it came with Red Dead Redemption 2 and a friend of mine borrowed me The Witcher 3.

I installed the Console, did the Updates, but RDR2 does not start, the red start screen is showing, then the screen goes black and the console is shutting itself down.

I have tried The Witcher 3 too, this game is starting, but the console is shutting down in the Intro-Scene, about 2 minutes after the game was started.

I did a few factory resets with the console, tried the powercycling, but the problems still exist. The Xbox is in an open spot where it can get enough air and I am not hearing a fan noises from the box.

Please help me with this problem, I waited so long for my new console and RDR2.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Forums I would recommend you to Factory Reset your console:

1. Press the Xbox button
   to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.
7. Select keep game sand apps

So the console is powering all the way off, not just crashing back to the home screen? If so, are you plugged into a surge strip or directly into the wall? Try going straight to the wall as the S and X have built in surge suppressors.

If that doesn't work I'd take it back to the store and get an exchange since it's brand new.
