    No is a hardware issue but a software trick camouflage the xbox one is silent... Only the silent xbox one pre- patch are really ok..

    It's not a software trick. It is an update to power management on the console.

    Sorry for my english, but local support is closed today and the will answear on Monday.

    Is it normal that when I set my xbox one to instant-on mode, started to downlaod Halo MCC and then turned off the console I can still hear something like hard drive working and then it was done I can still hear some noise like buzzing or sth? It is so anoying.

    Also when I was yesterday playing Bafflefield 4 late at night and sound was turned little down I could hear the console too.

    Should I get a replacement or is it a normal?

    What you describe appears to be normal. When the console is off and instant-on is enabled, you will hear the hard drive working when games are downloading or updates are being installed.

    With instant-on enabled, even when the console is doing nothing, you will hear the power brick humming. People have been complaining about his ever since the Xbox One was released, but this state of the art. The only way to get rid of that is to disable
    instant-on.

    I figure your console works as intended, even if this may be somewhat disappointing for you.

    I'm definitely not dsappointed, I bought it to play, not to waiting for the replacement or repair. It's a sahem but I will completely turn off my one for the night.

    Last update from October 2014 fixed the noise issue for me. Thanks Microsoft ! I can now use the instant-on mode without having trouble sleeping at night Brand new xbox one noise :)
