Brand new xbox one noise

Same... For me xbox one is not silent ... When the disc is in the drive the noise level is much more of ps4...,and the fan also make Little squeaking noise

 

Mine is still not fixed .. It sounds like something it getting hit and it's kinda high pitched. Not a clue what this noise is, I've even applied the October update. Guess I'll have to contact the person I purchased this from now.

I have no words... A my friends with october update all noise is gone included start/off and reset cache... My console with no Dashboard noise only start/off/reset cache coninuing making noise.... Microsoft have build xone whit different component? What
are the problem?

 

Hey guys....just also would like to confirm that my console now after installing october update is completely...really completely silent. No more irritating noises at all. Cant tell you how happy i am. Keep fingers crossed that it also works for all

Of course they're using components from different suppliers. That's a very common practice. And even if they weren't, component tolerance would still be an issue.

Listen perpax, I wish we could do more for you but moaning on these forums won't help if the update doesn't fix it for you. We just can't do some magic mumbo jumbo to make the noise go away. You know what you need to do.

what is the normal xbox? what noise is normal are microsoft [Mod removed] kidding me? the solution is swap console? latest swap the console arrived scratched!

Did the update and coil whine gone! Much less sound while the console is in standby too. No sound diffirence when I turn the kinect on / off. Just a simular coil whine noise for about 1 second when turning the linect off but that might be the hd..

 

I can confirm the coil whine has gone from my console after downloading the October update many thanks MS took you long enough but a fix is a fix so I'm grateful. I always knew it was a software problem nice to be proven right for a change.

 

I can also confirm that the noise is complete gone from my XB1 after installing the October update! Thanks Microsoft

My update is pretty odd: I have 2 One's, both with coil whine. First One without Kinect and very severe cw, second (Titanfall bundle) much less intense. After october update the first is now silent, but the blu ray drive seems to vibrate too much, it's noisy
(it works, however). The second One pretty still the same, nothing changed. Seems to me the update is more effective for kinectless models.
