    my xbox won't read any discs it's not that it wont pop up with an error it just won't read a disc and just says insert disc on one of the blocks, can someone please help?

    Xbox One won't read any discs

    Brand new xbox one won't read any discs, games or dvdd, has no error message, just keeps saying insert disc

    I feel ur pain just sent mine to ship to repair at times makes a buzzing noise and wont read any disc I would have eject disc several times for it to read hopefully its a one time fix cause my 360 broke down 8 times thanks to red rings of death not sure
    if its common technology now is to cheap my cousin bought a ps4 and the hdmi port didn't work he returned and got his money back

    MODERN WARFARE 2 DISC NOT READING

    I have an Xbox one. Bought in 2014 brand new. It has stopped reading discs all together. Brand new and old. Not even an error code. Have tried all the trouble shooting processes and still nothing.

    Anyone have any clue or help. I’m have no idea on cost or procedure of replacing the disc drive.

    Thank you for the response but I have tried that before and I tried it just. Its a new disc but the disc drive still does not read it. My xbox reads my Black Ops 2 xbox 360 disc so I don't understand why it won't read my L4D2 disc which is undoubtly cleaner.
    I know I need to go to my games and apps and it should pop up there, but it doesnt.

    Nope, it seriously just sits there and does nothing. It doesn't even say it's the wrong disc, nothing. Every single xbox one game reads with no issue at all, bot a 360 disc seems to just not work. Have I bought the only dodgy xbox one s?

    It sounds like a faulty disc reader. I would exchange it since it's so new. That's what I would do at least.
