Brand new Xbox one controllers issues

I have owned 7 xbox one controllers including 2 elite series 1. EVERY one i have had developed stick drift within at most 12 to 18 months. The reason for the post is i have just bought another TWO controllers at a cost of £100 and out of the box the right
analog stick on BOTH has stick drift. I noticed this on firing up call of duty warzone. When viewing the map the cursor immediately begins moving to the bottom of the screen on one controller and bottom right on the other. The only way to fix this issue is
to raise the deadzone to 0.10 on one and 0.15 on the other. So my question is what are the manufacturing tolerances for deadzone? I have owned every SEGA, Nintendo, Microsoft and Playstation system through the years and this is the worst ive ever saw with
controller issues. I love my games as you can probably tell but this is really starting to annoy me. I have had the original xbox one then bought the one s and now playing on one x. I am looking forward to the series x but if they use these controllers it
is going to take away from a hopefully enjoyable experience.

I am having this problem as well. Brand new series x, brand new controller, brand new batteries. System is up to date and so is the controller. Has to be a software issue, this does not happen on my Xbox One.

do you have your phone near you when playing, I discovered tonight that if I use 4g next to my controller it drops out or the audio is interrupted through the headset.

The best solution to this issue would be to connect the controller to the console. Just to keep it from dropping! Hope this helps!

I tested on html5 gamepad tester and there is a 0.08 deviation from centre which is miniscule. And shouldnt affect gameplay. So perhaps its call of duties deadzone settings?

hi, my elite series 1 does this a bit but then i just wiggle the right thumbstick around and the movement stops, doesnt bother me while i game either as usually moving around so i dont notice it, i may well increase the deadzone setting though from the
default to see if it imprioves, cheers for reminding me about that
