    Brand new Xbox One controller right analog stick drift


    I have a brand new Xbox brand controller i ordered just a few days ago, right out of the box it has stick drift on the right analog.

    I've tried entering the serial number in the devices section but it says they don't recognize it.

    I have opened a controller exchange request over 24 hours ago and have not received a follow up email.

    I've tried clearing my cache.

    Support calls and web chats are not for this issue apparently.

    I just want to get this controller repaired/replaced, can someone please help me.

    Xbox One wont respond to right controller stick movement (confirmed control is working correctly on PC with joy.cpl)

    I bought a brand new controller and it paired fine but the Xbox one is still not responding to the right analog stick of the new controller.

    Hello everyone :)

    I just replaced the Xbox One controller that came with my Kinectless Xbox One bundle yesterday so it lasted me 8 months.

    The left analog stick wasn't very responsive to Destiny's click it down to run function and the right analog stick was drifting up (making it hard for me to snipe without having to compensate for the up drift).

    From MY experience with Xbox controllers, the Xbox 360 seems to be built much tougher than the Xbox One controllers (not Xbox One S controller).

    controller issue

    That's controller drift. That happens when your analog stick starts to wear out and doesn't snap back to the neutral position on its own. It shouldn't happen with a new one, unless your new one is a used controller or is simply defective.
